All of our aluminium louvres are manufactured in Australia from marine-grade aluminium. Our aluminium louvre roofs are moved via the use of a remote control, and no water can come between the blades when they are placed in the closed position.
There are two types of aluminium that can be used in the creation of your louvre roof: anodised aluminium, or powder-coated aluminium louvres. On this page, we will go into a little detail to explain the difference between anodized aluminium and powder-coated aluminium louvres, so you can be well-informed when choosing between aluminium louvre roofs.
This involves the production of a film of aluminium oxide, which is then joined with the aluminium to form part of the aluminium, itself. The process of aluminium anodising is done to increase the thickness of the metal. Anodising aluminium comes with several benefits, such as an increased resistance against scratches, additional protection against corrosion, and protection against fading. The process of commercial anodising has been around since the 1930s, and is a tried and tested method for enhancing the aluminium’s surface area. Anodising does not emit Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and the process does not use heavy metals.
Powder-coated aluminium refers to aluminium that has a coating of free-flowing, dry powder applied to it. This process increases the durability of the aluminium, and along with that, the metal’s resistance to fading, chipping, and scratching. There are lots of colour and finish options when it comes to powder-coated aluminium, and this method is renowned for its consistency. Powder coating also give a long-lasting finish, and doesn’t produce air pollution, making it a good choice for the environment!

Louvre roofs are much-loved for to their versatility and elegance. Not only do you have a roof that looks great, but our roofs are also practical, and can provide varying degrees of coverage, allowing for year-round use. Our roofs have many positions, which can be changed via remote control. These positions include:
Fully-open position – Great for letting the sun rays in.
Angled-open position – Blocks the hot sun while still letting plenty of natural light and ventilation into the living space.
Partially-open position – This position is great for blocking out light rain. Although light rain is blocked out, it still lets light and air flow into the space. The partially-open position can also provide your outdoor space with shade from the hot sun.
Fully-closed position – Shelters your outdoor living area from heavy rain, protecting outdoor furniture, and allowing you to enjoy the fresh air no matter the weather. The interlocked louvres carry rain to the gutters, for smart water management.
